About Us
The Friends of Fremont Park (FFP) will gather and work together for the improvement of Fremont Park. The primary objectives of FFP are to ensure that Fremont Park is a safe and pleasant place for neighborhood residents and visitors and to establish the park as a vital focal point of a thriving community. Activities of the FFP will include the continued pursuit of improvements and enhancements to the park and the promotion of the park as a location for neighborhood gatherings and planned community events.

Hello! I am the coordinator for a new community organization, Pesticide-Free Sacramento, and we’ve been working with the Sacramento Parks Dept. to establish a pesticide-free parks Pilot Program, which will result in healthier, more beautiful parks. After extensive discussion, Fremont Park has been suggested as a top choice for this program. Members of our group plan to attend the Jan. 27 Friends of Fremont Park meeting in order to discuss this Pilot Program with your group. We think this could be a wonderful coalition!
